Ric Flair Thanks Fans for Support, Proclaims ‘I Ain’t Dead Yet’ in New Video

UNITED NEWS INTERNATIONAL (UNI) — Pro wrestling icon and WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair appears to be on the road to recovery.

On Sept. 2, “The Nature Boy” posted a 21-second video to social media in which he proclaims he’s “back up and running.”

Flair said, “I want to tell all of my fans out there, thank you for all of the love, support. And I will see you in the very, very, very, very, very, very near future. Wooooo!”

Rumors about the 68-year-old’s health have swirled for weeks.

In mid-August, Flair’s manager sent out a tweet asking for prayers. Details remain scarce, but Sports Illustrated reported Flair was rushed to the hospital, where he had part of his bowel removed.

Flair may appear frail in the new video, but as the shirt he wears in the video says, he ain’t dead yet.

As you might expect, that shirt’s already being sold on Flair’s website for $28. It’s currently on backorder.
